We've been doing all of the suggested things to reduce our carbon footprint for years including composting, recycling, cold water washing, no clothes dryer, turning off lights, no stand-by, etc and still our electricity bill keeps rising. I think we might turn off our electricity at the mains during the day to see if that makes any difference.
